A: The website migration service offered by appsulous is entirely free of cost and involves moving all your files, databases and emails from your current hosting provider to your brand new hosting account with us. We’ll also revise all the configuration settings necessary for your web sites to be fully functional on our cutting–edge cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are completely capable of moving any sort of website. With years of practical experience behind their backs, they are well–versed in the inner workings of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other well–known Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–built web app with many custom libraries is as elementary as moving a simple WordPress weblog.

A: There are plenty of variables to keep in mind – the total number of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the site itself and the current workload of our website migration experts, etc. Even so, we do our very best to implement all web site migrations within a 48–hour time period. Smaller–sized web sites are migrated much faster – usually within 24 hours.

A: We don’t gather any personal info. We will require, however, the login information for your present web hosting account as well as the name of the site that you need to move.

A: Client privacy is indeed one of our paramount concerns – that’s why, both our payment transaction page and our Control Panel login page are secured with enterprise–level Secure Sockets Layer certificates. We use safety measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and managerial procedures to protect the data that we gather on the web. And we also have a very detailed and strict Privacy Policy, which specifies the types of information that we collect.

A: Your website will continue to work just like it did before with your previous web hosting provider. After we are through with the migration, your website will be configured to work on our system and we’ll ask you to preview it. If it is working properly, all you will need to do is update the NS resource records for your domain. Your website will be migrated over to us with no downtime whatsoever.

A: While we migrate your web content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will never touch base with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–based web hosting platforms. Generally, if we can get access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to migrate your site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source site creation platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
